Couple of friends came over last week, 1 of them has a seris 3 lwb and the brakes needed looking at.
Mate fitted new cylinders all round and shoes, tried to bleed the brakes- usual story-bloody nightmare!
Could not get the air out, 1st pump to the floor then the pedal came up.
We ran out of daylight in the end, so my mate left his landy at my drive and came over today to try again.
Fitted a new master cylinder.
I bought a sealey eaziblled and connected that up-nice airtight seal.
Undid the r/n/s bleed nipple 1st-nothing came out! Diconnected the eazibleed and pumped the pedal and fluid came out.
Tried the f/n/s bleed nipple after I connected the eazibleed, fluid came out very slowly. Tried pumping with brake pedal and fluid came out.
Gave up with eazibleed, and bled brakes with brake pedal, but after about 3 hours and 5 litres of brake fluid- no luck, pedal to the floor on 1st pump, then pedal came up.
Cannot work out why fluid came out of the r/n/s bleed nipple with brake pedal, but not with eazibleed?
I cannot for the life of me work out how the air is still getting into the system.
What I will tell you is this, my mate bought the parts, and they are britpart.
All I can think of is maybe a flexiable is swelling up, or the master/clyinders are faulty.
I know lwb brakes can be a bar steward, but i'm defeated.
Any ideas?
