Can anyone here confirm for me whether or not MOD Lt77's have a different (lower) gearing than non-MOD units?

I seem to have lost 10mph of top speed after a transmission and transfer case swap.

test speed with GPS ? if its just the dash speedo reading thats different

Could simply be down to a different speedo gear in the speedo drive.

110s had different tires to 90s thus different speedo gear to correct the speedo.

not a hard job to change.

Seems military spec 77 is lower top ratio than std 200 unit.
Look at your serial number to confirm

Some MoD 110's also use the 1.6 rather than 1.4:1 transfer box. This will mean lower mph per 1000rpm in top. But should make it a heck of a lot more peppy.
