My prop brake failed yesterday. Closer inspection revealed the rear oil seal has failed. It's a real mess in there! So I'm trying to remove the drive flange nut so I can get to the seal. Am I right in thinking the retaining nut is torqued up to 146->179 NM?
I'm working on my driveway and struggling to get a breaker bar in there? Any tips or advise? The transmission is in gear with the xfer box in high range to stop the thing spinning as I [try] to turn the retaining nut.
