LT230 front output flanges - different sizes

Hello, Can anyone shed some light on the different sizes of the LT230 front output flanges? I want to put a double cardan prop on my 110. There seems to be two different types of TD5/V8 front props (one diff end short and the other diff end much longer). I have a defender type which seems to be different from the Discovery 2 type.
