notice the 100% useful no **** taking advice?
Did actually:)
Helps me a lot all this advice, it is in anythin goes so dunt need to be four wheel drive and it will be a Land Rover engine and poss landy brakes but I dont think they will fit TR6 type hubs. The hubs are actually TVR but brakes are Triumph with drums at the back.
I'll maybe put Land Rover headlamps and indicators on :)

:D I have a serious side as well, seen your chassis-more importantly what colour will the shell be? screams daytona yellow

ey up, im good ta mate, hows things with you> Your list of cars seems to have shrunk...

an fanatic, i did notice the 100 useful no **** taking advise, and thought ooo...

Then that was the limit of my excitement.

:)

however, i didn't feel the need to say anything cos im a big boy now :)

Good to hear you are ok mate
I decided to get rid of all me projects so sold the clio and the 205 and then looked at the TVR chassis and the body from the Banham sprint project and thought Hmmmm, I can do this
Dragged it out of the weeds and had a look and decided to get myself in gear and do it as it is a job that's interesting and chalenging and most of all CHEAP
so it'll be finished in the summer and on a track near you:bolt:

what did you pay for it? Mine cost £100...
Kinell Boydy..how do ya do it:D

Mine is what is left over from projects so the chassis and running gear cost nowt, in fact I'm in profit after selling bits off the original car, got 1800 quid for the engine and box:eek:
Paid 350 for the sprite project but profit from TVR far outweighs that so actually it will cost nothing to finish even if I spend 1000 quid on it :p:p:p
And it will outrun your shopping car K series (if I ever finish it) .....so there:D

it wnt outrun the 1.8 metro though, guarantee it :)

Still, the only project o' yours ive ever ackshirly seen in the flesh is your van... :)

I feel a challenge coming on, I'm more determined than ever to get it finished now so yer best get twiddlin or you'll be watchin the back end of a frogeyed sprite gettin smaller and smaller.:D hee hee..

he he ill get spannering... money is the main hold back to be honest, if i had a bit more of it then it would be done and thrashing most things already!
Just as a matter of interest, what is the wheelbase measurement on that sprite? I'm thinking the bonnet may be longer than mine to stretch to the front of the car.

80 i think. google mk3 midget.
Was just a thought in case I have trouble stretchin me frogeye bonnet. Worked out the weigh today btw, should come in at 650 kilo inc fuel but without driver. Should go allright with that V8 sat behind the front wheels and the gearbox alongside the driver. The weight distribution front to rear should be almost equal.
Did some bushes today, I'll post pics on Land Rover Kit Car thread. :)
