Am I the only one who has never seen that mechanic do any real work? He never fixes anything, he just replaces it but on the other hand he must be a magician because there's nothing he can't fix for 20 pence using nothing more than a phillips head screwdriver. Oh, and his clothes never get dirty.

Why bother fixing stuff when he gets thrown new stuff all the time? From what i've seen he does a good job..it aint his fault the programme isn't realistic..at least he shows a bit of enthusiasm..and isn't a tit like the presenter.

Because, correct me if I'm wrong but, the program is supposed to show how anyone can make money out of cars. It should be just that mechanic on his own working with tools everyone has. The prices they use are just so unrealistic. It should be done honestly and if he makes a loss, he should tell us.

My point was it aint ed chinas fault..its the shows producers etc...if you were doing his job, decent wages etc..would you turn round and say, ''hey guys, this is fkn so unrealistic, i demand to return to a cold, crap garage in Wigan immediately as my principles are being compromised''...

I doubt he's on any more than any other mechanic and personally, unless they were paying me stupid money like 3 times the going rate, I would say I want it to be realistic or I'm walking.
