To the guys with lpg where are your air suspension pumps relocated too? As just spoke to an installer who says putting it in the side compartment out of its acoustic box burns the compressor out within 8 months!!?. Your thoughts
 
Mine is placed still in it's acoustic cover and has been moved further forward to nearly under the rear seats...the boot floor has been cutout to accommodate the relocation...

I have some stuff in the boot otherwise I would take a photo for you....I have to get out there and remove the headlamp assembly later and if I get the chance I'll take photo if I muster up the energy to clear it out a bit!!

That would be great saint if yo can. The guy said the only way he does it is on top of the boot floor in the boot area which I wasn't sure about as we have a mad Labrador!

well mines in the o/s/r compartment out of its shell(wrapped in foam) ive owned it 3 years & never had a poblem except its slightly noisy,the only way to eliminate noise is keep it in its shell but as ant (saint) pics shows it needs body mods which is a mod not really reversable i will post pics later

no not fixed & you can hear it hum tbh but if eas is all good it shouldn't kick in that often, unless they are in a shell you will hear it even a factory unmolested set up will hum if bolts are loose/been disturbed etc. why did he say it will burn out after 8 months ? for what reason? its well ventilated & prob better than factory shell for air-circulation. tbh I cant believe he proposed fitting it on display in luggage compartment:eek:

That's what bothered me who wants that on display bolted to the boot floor!
 
Mines bolted in the wheel well still just further forward and at an angle, but without the top cover over it. Its not too noisy
 
I may be barking up the wrong tree, or maybe just barking, but don't some companies do a toroidal lpg tank especially for range rovers? The tank fits in the spare wheel well and the tank just fits around the EAS compressor.

A guy I know from work has an LPG converted 4.4 vogue and I'm sure that's what he's got. I'll have to see him and check.
