Hi guys,
Land Rover, Range Rover vogue 2005 3.0
having been chasing faults all over the vehicle
windscreen wipers
radio
dashboard indicator repeaters
brake lights stuck on
constant "P" light
I ran diagnostics and the only consistent fault is a auxiliary fuse error on the body control module, I checked all the fuses and they are all good I even took the entire fuse box out and checked for corrosion (yes I had the sunroof drain issue, now all cured)
all relays check out, so I started measuring voltages....
the dreaded fuse 41 is only measuring 4.1v !
I jumped a 12v to the switched power in on the radio and sure enough that sprung to life,
has anybody else come across this?
I am loathsome to just chuck another input to fuse 41 until I can find out why this (and a few other fuses) have this low voltage issue
any body got any ideas
on further investigation fuse 53 which is on the head of this line is showing 12v but everything south of the ignition switch is showing 4v
is this a swap out ignition switch?
