Connected the nanocom evo to my discoo td5 and got fault cod 1.7 air flow circuit (logged low). Anyone got any ideas. I`m thinking it could be air flow meter or maybe somehow because ive disconected egr valve. Anyone got any ideas.

Checked as you said and nanocom has zero reading on air flow (assuming you mean in the instruments part. ) Cleared the fault and the fault comes straight back 1.7 . Is there any other tests i can do. Car runs and starts as it should and disconnecting makes no difference.
New air filter fitted along with new maf air sensor , cleared the 1.7low air fault code and..................still the same fault just comes straight back and instrument part of nanocom states that there is no air . waiting for mate to check loom any other idras.
Update as promised. Done all the testing and found that there was no power to the maf sensor, so belled out all the brown and pink wire from sensor all the way back to the fuse board. Fuse board, fuse board, fuse board. Checked all the fuses and noticed f2 engine symbol with lightening strike was blown. Changed fuse and now all working as it should. Thought i would just reconnect old sensor just to see if the old sensor was broken and bang fuse blew again. So summarry, when original maf sensor went down, it blew the fuse, put new sensor in but this would not work as fuse still blown, new fuse with new sensor and bingo. A big thankyou for all your help and i hope this post may help others.
