Congratulations!

The only reason mine was picked up was because everything else had been checked and it was one of the last options.
With a live data scanner like the one I have shown above in the pictures the MAF reading can be seen whilst running. The ideal values are shown in the other pic of mine.

Mine had the software re-loaded and this made no difference so new ecu was the only way to go.

Can you confirm what you have changed and the symptoms you are experiencing now. I know its fustrating when it doesn't work correctly. but from my recent experience its best to start with the cheap stuff and keep going until you find the fix and only change the expensive stuff when you have to.

Hi there,

Cheers. Only thing I have done is change egr, checked hoses gone to two LR garages, and plugged into my brothers scanner. As mentioned the last week its been ok but only slihght puff on first start of the day. Like a fuel being kicked out. Does yours do this on first start?

For a week drivimg no issue. Tonight, started again after 20 mins into journy. This is very annoying. Its feels like loss of power

Hi,
This sounds like a different problem to mine as mine occured all the time and was blatently obvious that there was a loss of power.

Can you put your approximate location in your details as someone local maybe able to help or recommend a good garage.

I have read your other threads and suggest that you do NOT use Main Land Rover Dealership garages and find a local specialist that deals with only Land Rovers.

After taking mine to a Land Rover specialist near to me I will not be taking it back to a main Dealer again as the experience and knowledge at the specialist was far superiour.

I am sorry for not being able to suggest any fixes.

hi there,

So frustrated with the whole thing. I might just take risk and buy Bosch MAF sensor from Euro Car Parts.

Really just want it fixed as I hate driving it when its not driving good. Zero enjoyment. All the symptoms suggest MAF. Its been into a specialist and also main dealer and both cant find faults.

Shall I do it?

When I got mine from Euro Car Parts and then the main dealer fitted a new one they were very good and gave me full refund, which was good.

Before you buy id unplug the Maf and drive it. If it runs loads better then, it may be worth the risk of buying a new MAF.

Im not saying buy one or not, but unplug the MAF and see how it drives and then make your own decision.

Hi there,

Purchased one from euros. Took decision to just buy it! Probably wrong choice but crossing fingers! How is yours? Enjoying it?

Hi there,

Changed MAF. Same symptoms. Only difference much more power! On motorway very more responsive.. As soon as I come off, 2nd or 3rd pull away from stand still starts at around 1250-1500 pause of power. Not sure if it is loss of power! Dont know anymore?

Any other ideas? Do I need to do anything else?
