Loss of drive, changed several parts, scratching my head a bit now!

Afternoon,

I've had a re-occuring problem with my 1992, 200TDi 110 county for about 6 months that I can't solve...

Every now and again I seem to loose power, the engine will rev no problem but the power isn't being transferred properly. My brother-in-law has been showing me the ropes as he's a mechanic and I'm just learning bits on the go.

So far we have changed:

Clutch, master and slave cylinder, release bearing, clutch fork, clutch pivot and transfer box!

I thought it was all good until yesterday on the way back from the Land Rover Spring Adventure and it started top happen again.

Any idea's as to what it could be as I'm sick of it now?!

Gears are fine and I've never solved it!

Changed the clutch, release bearing and fork a few months back then the master cylinder went but I didn't realise that was the problem so changed to the clutch out which was fine but the bearing had gone so changed that and the pivot. Put it back together and found that the master cylinder had gone so changed that too!

Seemed OK until yesterday, it's been fine this morning but it only seems to happen on long journeys after I've been running it for a bit.

I also really struggle to get any more than 70 out of her, not that I often do those kind of speeds but thought it might be related. It's running a disco t-box though so it might be down to that?
 
leaking rear crank seal contaminating the plate with oil..... may only happen after a longer run when the engine oil is warmed , thin and under a bit of 'higher speed' pressure... oil burns off and not an issue till the next long run...

a possibility

sometimes if master culinder rod is adjusted too far,fluid cant return properly from slave cylinder this can lead to pressuure in slave increasing with every press of clutch pedal allowing clutch to slip
 
Thanks for your help Steve and James.

I'll have a look at the clutch rod and try that first as I really don't want to take the gearbox out again if I can help it!
