as you can tell i am not mech minded i am lost when it comes to cars , there no lights showing on dash , i would say its not in limp mode as will do 70 just loses power then picks up again or floor it. it was hard to understand his strong welsh accsent but he basically said cars running cold on gauge and temp sensor was showing minus 36, then he said number 4 injector sensor was showing fault said it could be a wire or timing but that all goes above my head lol then he mentioned the pedal only going upto 60% said when he was playing with pedal it was not showing anything on his comp till you floor it,

Gauge sensor and ECU temp sensor are different things. Can't be -36 on gauge sensor or it would not move at all. ECU temp sensor reading -36 with warm engine would certainly give you problems as would fuel temp sensor reading that low. Number four injector signals point of injection to ECU. ECU adjust timing solenoid in pump from that information. Any fault with number four injector should put engine check lamp on even if it just flashes it momentarily. But it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the throttle potentiometer is faulty.

found out today its coming up as timing fault after checking every wire i could find finally found the problem it comes out from the underside of injector ,and i have no idea how to get it off or find the other end of wire lol just cant see how cant make any space to get at it,
anyone any idea of the part number please or even if this job can be done at home
cheers paul
thats the best pic i can get and still cant see wire as it under the injector block i would never have know it was even there never mind broken lol
