Hi, looking to drain the petrol tank on my P38. Anybody got a way of doing this without blowing myself up. I gather there are baffles in the filler neck so possibly no easy way in there.
Can I get the pump to run and empty itself, but how..?

If it's petrol, then the pump should run with the ignition on if the rail is below pressure.(well, all other rail based injection systems I've played with in the past have)

Tell your uncle Bagshot all about it...
Only waiting for the tensioner pulley and Aircon pulley to turn up and then to wire up the additional fan and I'm going forest bashing!! Found some new lightweight off road tracks about 15 mins from here and as the ground is slowly starting to harden it's time for offroading!!!

Take a seat and tell me all about it... thinking-face_1f914.png

If there's no water in it, it'll run fine.
I found an old lawnmower from about 12 years ago in the back of the shed, cleaned the carb out, first pull it fired up.
