After a short love affair with a very up it's self Freelander half-leather, heated seats, folding mirrors, no knickers...I have sold it on to someone who fancies a bit of lady-like elegance and have freed up a few grand to get myself back where I once belonged - behind the wheel of a 90 or 88 SIII.

I have looked in great depth on e-bay and autotrader but am worried that some of the specialist sites may have both the loved and the roughed for sale.

Any guidance on a good place to hunt one down would be great.

My ideal would be a rag top 90/88 SIII.

I don't want to get too far down the road of DIY so any recommendations on a good LR specialist service / garage in the Cheshire area would be great too.

Cheers folks. ;)

you'll pay heaps more from a dealer - take your time and keep your cash in your pocket untill the right one at the right price comes along, they always do eventually

and welcome back from the deadzone that is freelander ownership
