Looking for a Vogue

In all seriousness @Mongo, please be very careful looking at ads for RR Sports on ebay, I just checked it out and anything below 7k are scam ads, usually asking for you to contact the seller via their own email address.

In my estimation anything below 7.5k is either very high mileage or pretty rough.

ALL are a major gamble, as with it's brother the L322....(often misnamed as VOGUE, which is just the spec.)

VOGUE is just a badge....but 'we dont need no stinking badges'!

Sometimes @myfirstl322 you do surprise me, and I don't mean that time I found you in my cupboard. I know I'm biting my tongue on the answer he deserves after his last post, so to find you still trying to educate pork, is making me wonder if I have stepped in to a parallel world ;):D

ME...!

That's rich... all I've done is ask alleged people in the know about purchasing a range rover yet the sarcasm far outweighs the genuine responses... y'all have a good time staring into that mirror now!

And yes, Vogue is a badge, as is autobiography, HSE and so on... I'd prefer the vehicle with tv headrests.

As for eBay buying, some of those adverts are from business sellers, or car dealers.

But my question still stands, what should I be wary of and why?

You were given the answer to that on the first page. Stop being a stroppy hole of a donkey and do some research............. and now you bore me so I'm off to make sure none of your petulant ,spoiled brat ,posts show on my screen again.

Much better to have used the search button here first, all the things to look out for are here in the archives.
Nobody with any sanity is going to compile a list for every Tom, Dick or Harry who posts up a couple of sentences
.
No offence intended, good luck on your quest.:)

Ps. If you can find a similar thread in the search function, by all means add a post on that so any further legitimate queries you have can be answered.

I think you have had your answer in the nicest possible way, what you want for the ammount of money you want to spend does not exist.

One last suggestion Mongo,

Don't be put of by the banter or otherwise on here, it's just your question has already been asked, and answered dozens of times, we just feel familiar enough on here with each other to have fun, which can seem unhelpful to newbies such as yourself, but it's certainly not personal.:)

Back in time I would get angry at people bluntly suggesting use google or do your own search, but I realise now that nobody in their right mind is willing to satisfy each and every identical request.

If your not already aware, the search button is on top right of the Landyzone header (magnifying glass icon), to the right of the envelope icon.....give it a try.

Here's one I found that died a quick death>>>https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/to-buy-or-not-to-buy.289165/#post-3571245

More info>>https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/buying-a-sport-help-please.253544/

(Both the above searches were found by typing "buying a sport" at the cursor.)

There are many more, have a gander.;)

Really... banter, on this forum? Never!

Mark Green would've warned me about those sorts of shenanigans years ago.

Sometimes @myfirstl322 you do surprise me, and I don't mean that time I found you in my cupboard.

Not as surprised as me I can assure you.....
Minutes earlier I was in a changing room at Matalan trying on a pair of jeans when I tripped and stumbled, there was an almighty technicolour flash and I woke up looking at the inside of louvre doors, as I peered through them I could just make out a figure lying underneath a bed completely trussed with Gaffer tape with a leather gag strapped over his mouth,............................
the figure moved and turned towards the louvre doors with an unholy and fearful expression, what I realised then horrified me to my very core............

I was staring a me,,,,,,,as he was staring at HIM...................... I was looking at me, but 15 years younger.........and he was staring at him, but older.............

Then I remembered,.................all those years ago,in simpler times..........
that weird, now familiar flash of light....
I had just entered 5318008 on my new calculator....

I fear for what became of my other self.............alone and scared.........beneath that bed.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Quick question......
How do you get gaffer tape residue of skin?

I still have that calculator..........somewhere!

Anyway, back on topic:):):):):)

Gosh, I'd forgotten all about gaffer tape boy. The tape may not remain sticky forever, I'm not sure, I've never kept a victim, oops I mean a visitor more than a couple of weeks, well months, oh ok a couple of years.BUT I do know that the memories last ;)
Talking of which, where is @holidaychicken?? He becomes increasingly noticeable by his absence :(

@loony was his mate who helped with his gearbox rebuild, however I think he only joined to ask some questions to Bemble.

I wonder if he knows what has become or befallen him?

His hiatus on here done raise a serious and genuine enquiry,
ie. His dismissal at the suggestion to triangulate his home made ramp springs to mind, and also his apparent penchant for visiting Dock's in the wee hours.

Maybe everyone should check their cupboards, wardrobes, sheds,........basement/adult fun room?

The badge thing was a joke, missed on you it seems.
Have tried to help & suggest this particular model is realistically out of your budget but ok, you trot on & get your 'Range Rover with TV headrests'.
What to be wary of? I'd say look in the mirror, that should keep you busy for some time.

I'm new here but there's a holidaychicken gone over to the dark side of FullFatRR. I think he himself may actually be his "friend" who has lost all the keys to his L322.

Not sure if this will get me banned mentioning it, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the postings there and here. Luckily here you're all obsessed with P38's so that makes it easier.
