Looking for a TD6....

The HSE spec is not only lacking in the sat nav department, it will also be missing the rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, the lower spec audio system and the less posh seats. It is almost impossible to retro fit these features to a HSE spec as they are built with completely different wiring looms and the cost difference between upgrading a HSE to a VOGUE spec would be so much more than just going for the VOGUE spec in the first place. The answer to your question regarding if the sat nav is any good, is yes it is good if you do the MK4 upgrade to replace the old MK3 unit that comes with the Range Rover as standard. The MK4 unit gives better user interface, allows you to use the latest 2010 DVD based map discs, gives you 3D map view and allows you to use the speed camera feature. Check out my website www.myrangerover.co.uk for more info on the MK4 upgrade.

Good Luck with your search and treat yourself to a 4.4 V8 VOGUE and you will not regret it, trust me, my range rover is the best car i have ever had!!!

So anyway, back to the question in hand....

Is it worth the extra for one with sat nav? Or just get one fitted at a later date?

I'm thinking resale value here.

Yes it is worth the extra, not because it has the satnav, but because if it has satnat it will be a Vogue model (probably, although HSE had it as an optional extra). And that is where the value will lie, because people want Vogues and not HSEs. Plus in Vogues you get better seats (they are literally totally different from those fitted to a HSE) and a few other gadgets, but also they have that badge!

but ill break down as much or more than ya fiat.Get a proper mechanic to fix it, not ya so called mate cos hes shafting ya.
