Saw this one... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1282779065

The seller is the same one I bought my last Freelander from and it finished up a very good deal. Not worried about minor issues like BHG's.

More worried about keeping our current place tidy and the (hopefully) soon move to a bigger property with a workshop.

Even more worried about the reaction from my wife, and maybe @GrumpyGel 's wife if she sees yet another hulk on their back lawn.

Bring 'em on Tony, more the merrier :)

But its not coming anywhere near my pad with those wheels on it :) Unless there's some home baking bribery!

Have you seen this one....

Its a 3 door with the girly body kit (would they allow you into Greta Valley with that kit?), but you could sell that to @rob_bell as backup. Its a TD4 manual and looks to be a higher spec than that V6. Starting at under $1K but not sure what the reserve is.

Drop everything Tony....

2002 TD4 ES Manual and 3 Door but nice motor and cracking price $980. Ex-UK, came over here late 2006 according to Carjam, so running a risk on the rust.

I so want to buy that car - but not at the moment.

No, you can't have my IRD - and if it goes missing from the garage I'll know who took it :)

Yes, I saw the TD4, right about the wheels.

I had not seen that one. Ideally my next will be a facelift high spec TD4 FL1. The 2004 V6 could be made TD4 without too much stress.

Buuuuuut.......

By end of today we may own 2 houses, one more than we should. I NEED to get that situation sorted before spending any more money.

Mind you, the Greta Valley property could stand about about a dozen landys on it, and if so Teresa would be keeping our Sylcan street property as part of the settlement.:mad::mad::mad:

Crumbs - almost identical to mine!

The bodykit isn't something I'd have wasted money on (it cost a PO £1,400 to get fitted!) but it's kinda growing on me.

Might look better with an A-frame, as that particular car has got?

At least it saves the body sides from the rigours of yummy mummy parking manoeuvres...;)

I have only seen 3 doors in NZ with that body kit. Maybe all sent here and to Japan had them??????

Can it just be removed and you are left with a standard body side?

Yes, it can :) I haven't tried to do this, but it appears to be only glued on, plus may be a couple of screws in the lower wheel arches (many of these are missing on my Hippo).

Getting rid of the old glue residue might be the main challenge?
