Looking for a cheap 110

Im looking to acquire a 110.

My ideal would be a 300tdi with a knackered engine (as i happen to have a spare 300tdi)
Id also go for something with a knackered chassis (knowing that i would have to replace it, and for it to be priced accordingly)
Id also go for something with mot etc. so long as it was diesel.

I need the pricing to be sensible. You get dealers "trying" to sell 110s without engines on ebay for £2k!

On a good day, on ebay, you can get a runner with issues for £1k, or somthing with a bit of mot for £1.5k.
There's one up there at the moment for £750 with a poor conversion, and no mot, but its too far away for me to bother with.

Basically, i dont want to be paying 'shiny' prices, but i have more than a fiver in my pocket... ; )

Im located in Devon.

The landrover pictured is a1983 2.5 n/a diesel I am looking to sell it with twelve months mot. It has recon engine that I have done about thirty thousand on. It is a good vehicle with 230,000 miles on the chassis. Comes with a full file of receipts and a rear cross mmber which will need doing by next mot. Daily driver with lt77 gear box. If interested I can send pics. Reason for sale is I have series 3 truck cab and I can't afford both.

I should have updated the thread long ago though - I acquired a 300tdi csw in suitably ropey condition to put it in my budget!
