looking at a 2001 disco2

Hi all,
Just want your opions of a 2001 discovery. what are they like and what should i look out for when buying one. The one im going to look at has 131,000 miles on the clock. Is this to high a mileage for one? It does have full service history. What are the electrics like and specialy the ecu are they good for a long time, and also would this be a airbag suspension model?

Forgot to mention the seller states the clutch is noisy when cold, any idea what this could be?

Lastly what would you pay for a tidy (for age) commercial disco with fsh and 131,000 on the clock?

Hi Kyle, you really should use the search function but I'm going to give you some answers just to be helpful, this time:

1. what are they like and what should i look out for when buying one. They are great if you need 2.2tons of vehicle that will average 25-ish mpg. Re checking them out, find someone who knwos these vehicles well, to help you out - there's too much to list;

2. The one im going to look at has 131,000 miles on the clock. Is this to high a mileage for one? It does have full service history. Service stamps in a book mean little or nothing, what you want to see are invoices for work done. 131K mls is nothing if it has been enthusiastically maintained.

3. What are the electrics like and specially the ecu are they good for a long time, no problems with electrics or ECU.

4. and also would this be a airbag suspension model? - How would we know as they come air suspension and non-air suspension?

5. Forgot to mention the seller states the clutch is noisy when cold, any idea what this could be? - Likely to be a worn spigot.
