… and don’t buy a cheap Chinesium replacement camshaft sensor - that will let you down too.

Does it make a difference if I say that it is a lot worse at starting after a run and the engine is hot.
a worn out hp.fuel pump will do that ..
however that'll include other symptoms, like loss of power-on-demand when driving,
dash warning light .. ..
a faulty injector might .. .. depending on the cause i'd guess.

if it drives ok .. but just starts worse when hot ..
camshaft sensor is often the culprit.
it only gets used for starting the engine .. not in effect once engine is running.
some folk have been known to test it by sticking it in a fridge for a while,
the re-install 'n see how .. or if .. it starts.

You can back-probe the camshaft sensor to test it.
3 wires on the multiplug - the signal wire should get around 4-7v on cranking IIRC. My last one gave about 0.5!

There is a u-tube how to on it… I’ll see if I can find it…
