Locking wheel nut key

any of the freelander lock sockets will work, they have 2 tags inside, just chisel one off, the other will engage in a slot and remove the nut, i know i did it, not really much good as far as securit goes are they lol
 
Check the wheel nut. There is either a letter or number on top which tells you which code it is. Not very secure but handy as there was no locking nut with mine!
 
Mines an l series. Jack is still in engine bay but no key. Will look on the nut dave for the letter.

you got me at it now , lol

looked on the wheel nuts and locking nut, no code or letter , just on the actual socket that removes the locking nut
 
Cheers davidsmith1307 the letter was stamped on the nuts. Bought the key. Undid said nuts! Sweet! Now to attack the rear window, handbrake and many other things!

that's a good result , still can't find it on mine , maybe they omitted it in later years or models ???

was it on the end or side of the wheel nut
