Locking wheel nut help

When the "oh so clever" tyre fitter stripped my key, I bought 5 standard nuts from a breakers then took the car to the main stealers for them to use their master to remove the locking ones.

As it happens the stealer only held masters for the 'posh' landies - so they used some titanium tipped bolt they screwed over the nuts till the friction took them off rather than cutting in further. Munted the old nuts bit but they won't be used again and at least I can change my wheels now even if some low-life can nick my tyres.

As Bushy says - Gently wack on an oversized socket. Lost my locking key socket last week and MacGard wanted £25 to get one in from Germany. 7/16" BSW is a good fit.
