Hello, new member here, first time posting.

I have a RR vogue autobiography 54 plate. 4.4l petrol. My issue is I can’t get into the car. I have the key which unlocks the drivers door fine but the handle seems to be jammed/stuck or broken as the door won’t actually open even though it’s unlocked. The car has been sitting for a while so the battery is dead meaning the central locking won’t open. I’m really reluctant to break a window or cause any damage to the car so any advice would be appreciated. There is no key access on any of the other doors or the boot. Someone told me I can use jump leads to give the battery enough power to let the central locking kick in but as I can’t get under the bonnet I don’t know where to attach the leads.

TIA

Welcome:)

this is not the best place for tech Qs. We usually do pics in this section.

But.....
I wonder if the new ones suffer from the same as the P38 with a little link dropping off the lock, which of course never shows till you need it:( anyway do you have a 13pin towing socket as you can charge through that.

how do you know the “is actually unlocked” ?

or try in here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/range-rover.10/
Good luck

Thanks for your reply, I will post in the link you’ve sent me. The door unlocks as I can see the button/pin on the inside of the door going up and down with the turning of the key.
I’m not sure about a 13 pin towing socket tbh. The car is 15 years old though so would it have this? And where would I check? I’m not as clued up on the mechanics etc of the car unfortunately. Becoming better as the days go on just now though.
Thanks
