Hi, after a long absence I`m back.
A bit older, more wiser, but have less to go wrong hopefully.
My old faithful black early 3 door disco got sold on, as my bad then, worse now dodgy left leg is still mine, thus need autos now, so, was supposed to be buying a very nice looking TD5 with its cheese eaten chassis but the seller was being a ****, and on the way home I saw a shiny hippo for sale, looked inside and went - Ohhh, Its auto and diesel and an hour later it was mine....
And to be fair, did I really want hours of laying on my back getting hot drops of metal dropping down my sleeves putting right the wrongs of LR choice of chassis metal suppliers - been there - done that years ago, am 71 now by jingo - lol
Actually not driven my hippo yet except moving it in and out my yard, but, been ordering lots of stuff for a service/ and fitting a new tow bar.
Dont tow much except a small`ish box trailer now mainly buying and selling motor scooters that I have a "few"
I plan to start using my hippo at the start of next month for tax reasons, am in no hurry, as I still have my trusty Mondeo auto estate....
Need to up my game and get on servicing and doing "stuff" on my hippo..
And need to have fair weather to do it in, done with working out in the cold now.

Oh, If anyone has skills that turns up the outside heat for a week, that would be nice - thanks
