I just went in to frogs Island today to seek some advice about fixing my knacked HD rear springs (TD5 90 CSW).

They recommended the 2" lift springs but medium rated so I can handle the winch weight on the front and occasional towing / heavy load without making the ride too harsh like it is now. They had the shocks and springs in stock, total cost around £300, they also recommended an uprated steering damper to help stabalise it some more.

I'm going to be fitting them in a few days, using a method that means you don't have to remove the turrets, planing pictures etc and a simple articulation test before and after. Watch out for the new thread when it comes.

Cheers,

Look forward to the pics. Suggest you pop a not on here when it is up.

The TerraFirma springs and shocks are on and it's great. Pictures and explanation will be posted during the week.
I had std LR Heavy Duty springs on before and the ride was harsh, plus the rear springs had compressed about an inch. Now it's about 1.5" up on std and the ride is much better and more comfortable, I'm sure the articulation is much better than before.

Best £300 quid spent on it yet. Total fitting time around 8 Hrs.

Looks like I will be getting some medium duty terrafirma springs for the rear of mine. Will go with the plus 2 terrafirma shocks I have already.

Look forward to the pics. Cheers.
