Simon, I'll take them at 40mm ta. I can't find a viable alternative at 30mm so will just have to get my thinking hammer out when I fit them
Welder to welder, how about a set of smaller holes say m6 clearance on the same pitch at a different angle to hold them together while you weld, that way you can weld the bolts in place before putting top and bottom togetherI wouldn't be confident of the strength of threaded rod. Problem I've got is lining the plates up, then getting the bolts in once welded together, as I can't do both, even with tacking the plates together then taking the clamp bolts out to put the bolts in, the bolts are 32mm long but the gap to fit them in is 20mm

Haha... Maybe they had a good laugh in the shop on my behalf Maybe they are aftermarket ones... I don't know..
