I'm glad it wasn't me throwing insults then. However lighting and particularly illegal dip lights is a hot topic for some reason.:confused:

Let us know how you get on with LEDs in your FL2, as I'm finding the main beams in my FL2 particularly carp, especially as I went from an FL1 with a 24" LED bar fitted, to some pretty standard and frankly below average FL2 headlights.:(

Wasn't the best way of wording, but the outcome kind of nails it. For me it's not the blinding itself, but the light those LED's emit, which
is much more disturbing than the old lightbulbs as they have a more natural light spectrum. It disturbs melatonin production in the body, not that one should sleep while driving, but it's like watching into the midday sun and then dark night which makes really tired, at least me. When using some amber tinted glasses, which, I think, are not permitted in the car, but elsewhere, this effect doesn't happen. I am sure the manufacturers of bulbs know that, that's why they came up with the filament bulbs.
