LED lamps in roof spots

Just been looking through the bulbs on eBay. I guess the Cree bulbs would be worth a try from HK at £5 but local stock £10, there is a guy doing led light units for £25 might just change the lights after all.

I got some cree mains units that do light the way but weakly.
the 11 watt ones that I have all f*ck my eyes up if I look at the cree unit when alight.
but as pir yard lights, at night, they do a job of lighting the way......
cheap as chips too..

to be honest, I cant see they are better than bulbs or bulb variants in car usage.
unless proved wrong, if you want spots, buy spotlights...
