Hi guys, my front passenger window has always worked without fault, but having been opened/closed the other day now shows no sign of working.
Don't think it's a fuse as the one controls all four motors, though it could be a the switch I suppose. Strange that the failure has been so sudden & unpredictable as the last one experienced was on a previous classic, but it that instance I did have a degree of warning in the form of intermittent operation.

Thoughts anyone .. cheers all.

Switch, cable from A post to door or even the motor.

Cheers D.
Of the four RRC's I've owned only two (inc. this one) have experienced this problem & on both occasions it's been the NSF .. you'd think the driver's door would be the most likely, given it's usage.

I always 'exercise' the windows that get little use as I know the grease can harden over time.

It's always the passenger side on my P38's that fail. I put it down to lack of use allowing time for the contacts to corrode. Never a problem with the drivers side but the switches for the rear windows also play up from time to time.
