Leaky fuel cap!

Does anyone know a solution to this?

When paying and playing i always end up with a bit of deezil sloshed out of the cap!

Me mate 90 does the same so must be a common thing??

If it comes out then surely at the right depth of water, H2O can get in???

You can buy a cover that fits flush to the bodywork...i'd check your cap too...might be time to get a new one with a good rubber seal.

OK mate will do! cheers for that, i hate the thought of water going into me lank, i dont wade that deep but the odd occasion it has the potential to go over the cap!

Mine leaks too when over 3/4 full and its a brand new vented cap .....

, might get a non vented at some point and vent the tank directly ( with pipe of course ) .

that only fits the 110 and td5..it wont fit early 90s with the fuel filler recess behind the drivers door

There was a bloke a while back from slovenia or slovakia who'd designed some..if i recall he was looking for about £8 for them...when i'm at work i'll try and find them..tis quality time now lol.. :beer2:

Wondering why the ones on ebay are only for a 110...any ideas? Surely the recess is the same?

It's 'cos a lot of the older 90's have a square recess where as the 11o's and newer 90's have the rounded top

If ye look at his website again and notice the wee photie under where it says Order now... that'll be my hole

only had 3 cans of guiness and now on tea- strangly enough after a roast dinner earlier - fancy tika massala (but **** out of luck)
