just done a compression test , I have 350psi in cylinder 3 and 4 and 250psi in 1 and 2

Another thing , it smokes a lot less after warming up and when warm and pressing the accelerator all the way down does not smoke at all

Think you need to give IT a good run 5/10 miles should get rid of any water /condensation out of the exhaust system !

Yes but don't forget that it will have pulled some moisture back in to the exhaust over night !

I dont know offhand what it should be, but the cylinders should be much closer together than that.
Are you still checking the oil and water levels after driving it?

no, I don't drive it , I will recheck the valves this week and I think take the head off again this week end , clean everything well and send you guys a picture
