Pressure washed my 90 today and clean the rad and intercooler as it was full of mud from the last pay and play and get very hit today whilst driving,

Decided to pressure wash my engine with it running and sprayed it with detergent and noticed some smalls bubbles on the front 2 glow plugs, cleaned it off and sprayed with gas leak detection fluid and they bubble like crazy haven't checked the rest as I was in a rush,

Is this normal? Mines a 300tdi defender with a 300tdi Edc with all the bits that make it a edc removed if it makes a diffrence.

Is it a case of that they need the sealing faces cleaned or new rubbers or whatever seals them.

as said above the glow plugs seal on a taper... try taking them out very carefully clean the thread try not to let anything go down the hole otherwise it'll drop into the cylinder, take the glow plug clean it off, copper slip the thread and put them back into the cylinder head.
Hope that works!
