leak from rear hub?

The usual splats of oil have got worse on the rear wheel. im pritty sure its the hub leaking!
what do i need to stop it?
is it a big job?
does it mean taking off the back plate and dismantaling the brakes?

Easy 2 hour job if you never done it before.

You want a Hub oil seal and a paper gasket drive washer (2 to 3 pounds from pads.) and a felt washer too.

I would also invest in a pot of GP grease and a hub spanner (606435 Hub Nut Spanner - for use with bar)

I have been ignoring the grease splatter on my right rear wheel for a week, assuming that it's thehub - please let me know how you get on and any tips,

FFs guy's this is not a big expensive job.

If the oil is on the outside of the wheel it might just be the felt seal, costs pennies and you don't even need to take the wheel off. Worth a try before you strip everthing down, but still not a big job if it is the inner seal.
