I'm especially interested to learn about the little aeroplane on his sig pic. Did someone say he was an ARB inspector? Moving abroad and learning about Land Rovers - I'm sure there's loads of stuff.
One think to note is that I am rubbish at IT - I mean REALLY rubbish. If there's a way of contacting me privately, through the site - good news but my email is ------------- you're welcome to use that.

I'm not looking for work here, if someone is better qualified to do the job then I won't be offended in the slightest but I would be honoured to make this contribution to the site.

I think that once we agree what we want to say, that we should ensure that families are OK with what is proposed then present the job to out site masters 'fait accompli.'

If Wamners service is still online it was all mentioned in that. Might be worth contacting the family(-ies) first to check they are happy about it.

Tomcat was RAF then HGV then Fireman with a stint in a garage at some point iirc.

No ideas on the moderators. @neilly might know?

I CAN SYMPATHISE WITH THAT AS I'M POOR SIGHTED IN ONE AND PARTIALLY DEAF IN THE OTHER.

I think an 'In Memoriam' sticky would do it...

Question now being, how long do we have to wait for @accywingy to fly too close to Sun for anything of any substance to actually happen around here?

I bet if I was where he is we'd be having a fucking flip-flop duel...the bulk of which would probably be wasted trying to waken him.

plus 1 and indeed out of respect and as mentioned for there families to be consulted to ensure there ok with it

also wonder if several Memoriam posts are written and hope it’s ok to say this if we could set up a voting system to see which one everyone likes the best

lastly on contacting the family if they would kindly release a picture of them, plus a few pics maybe if there laddies , projects etc to build up a small history to celebrate there lives , etc

once again really hope that’s ok to suggest that , plus so new members can also read about there lives and how much they meant to all of us
 
Plus may I also put forward another suggestion please

wonder if one of us could design something like a wooden/ metal plaque with Landyzone and there names on each individual plaque , to be sent to the family as a way of us showing how much they mean to us , along with wording, so it could be hung on their wall or cabinet

If we all say chipped in a few quid to the person designing it and then we could say vote on the best design, suggest what to say etc

Could we even add the design of there land rovers etc

what does everyone think plse, just think it would be so nice for the families , once again really hope everyone doesn’t mind me suggesting this
