Laning Wish List

Just been thinking about new places I would like to go, possibly this year. So far I have come up with

Another visit to Durham
Mid/South Wales
Devon & Cornwall
Salisbury Plain.
Ireland (mainly Donegal)

We have already done North & parts of mid Wales, Lakes, Northumberland, Yorkshire, Peak District & Isle of Man.

Anywhere good I have missed and is worth looking at??? Or what is your wish list

Get someone to wring some of the water out of D&C before you come! Better for sightseeing and the surfaced roads than the lanes, although there are few nice ones tucked away.

Salisbury Plain, Wilts and Hants were great when I lived there thirty years ago, now all I ever seem to find are RBs that way! Think the MOD roads on the plain are still there.

I have worked in Ireland, some of the public roads are unsurfaced, or were, but I have no idea if there are byways as such.

There are a few wishes on my list, but as regards 4wd action, my ultimate trip would probably be rock crawling in a difflocked vehicle somewhere like Arizona, USA, where there are huge scary rounded boulders, but absolutely no mud!
