Just bought my first series 3 land rover which my family just love!The problem is we live 1 mile inside the emission zone.I believe that the unladen weight of my vehicle is 1340kg,and the emission legislation says that any vehicle that is under 1205kg is exempt.It is a 2.2 diesel,does anyone know how I can get my much loved Landy through this legislation?

Put a v8 in it, get the stupid exhaust thingy put on it . Isnt it old enough to not be affect anyway?

My friend with a van had to have it done to make it compliment it wasn't cheap, believe it was around £1500, sure you could pay to have it done but not actually fitted if that makes sense?

Firstly, If it is a station wagon then it should be LEZ exempt, check what yours is registered as.
