I've had my series for over 2 years now and not been off road and only used 4 wheel drive a few times in snow, some may say why you got a land if you don't off road?
My answer is I was not looking for one I ended buying it in bits, basically an unfinished progect from a friend who's landy mad and a wealth of knowledge about them.
I always fancied an old motor and this one was just avaliable and I had some pennies to spend, it could have been any other make of car and I still would have bought it. I use it daily for travelling to only about a mile away but I start a 4 in the morning so its just convenient and safer to drive.
It's my toy and does what I want, a cheap 2nd car that is reliable ( yes really it is a reliable land rover the two times it would not start it was my fault after tinkering lol).
How many others on here don't use their landy off road and just enjoy driving something different?

Mine is my daily driver and my green laner so I just have to make sure I don't get to carried away in it, mainly the reason I stay away from pay and play sites :D

My Ninety is my daily driver. I've not taken it off road, I want to, but I've not found a group in my area that actually does any greenlaning, they just seem to talk about it, or go out without letting everyone know their going.
Love my Ninety. Will probably only ever get a boring car when I'm too old to get in my Ninety, or when the government/EU ban dirty diesels.

I do occasional greenlaning in my 90, but that’s not often due to having a young family. I’d use it everyday if I could but due to my travelling, I’ve got a boring normal car too. I did run a series 3 as my daily vehicle for six years though!

I do, now owning my fourth RRC over the past 18 years I've never off-roaded any of them.
Way back I used to compete (successfully) in RV trials with S3's but these days I enjoy the Classic without getting it muddy or scratching the paintwork, it's not a daily driver though does come in handy if we do occasionally get enough of the white stuff.
During the summer months it's main purpose is taking myself & friends to classic car shows, where it's very rare to see another RRC these days.

I really hate getting it muddy;)
It’s not our daily till the bad weather comes but not broke anything yet:D

but its not compulsory.

@Russbus when peeps ask, just ask them why they have a tow bar/stupid wheels with rubber bands/loads of chrome, the list is endless

enjoy it how, it pleases you:)

Would love to go greenlaning, but need to sort a coupler of things out first, it's used daily probably 50 miles per day except on days off. Love it but I don't worry about the state of it, cos I think it may blow up before I get it sorted! (Probably just as the snow arrives like last year ☹️)

I've owned my 90 for about 7 years now and the last time I even took it down a lane was probably about 2 years ago. Love driving the Landrover and if I've not driven it a few days it always feels nice to get back in it.
My other half has a disco and she's never off-roaded that either.
Both daily drivers and I have a fair few lanes all around me.
