landrover series 3 question

hello everyone i have a question an whoever can help would be very much appreciated.
i have a a series 3 lwb 5 door safari, its the 12 seater? it has been dry stored for 3 years, ir starts and runs fine it has a little surface rust in some places, overall the lanrover is in good condition for its age but would make a good protect. it has a 2.5 liter diesel engine in it which i believe has been put in there at a later date, i am posting on here because i cant seem to find any for sale and would like to know how much its worth because i would like to sell it.

look at what other vehicles of that age are fetching on the usual sites/places/on-line...

but don't think we 're a bit soft in the head - we trust no one...

OK, now I call liar too .. "... because i would like to sell it."

In other words, we've had it from others before you, you want someone to get their interest piqued enough to ask for pics and ask waddayawantferitmister and sell it without incurring ebay/paypal/admag/pistonheads/autotrader fees and costs.

Feckorf and do some research .. what sells where you live might not sell where I live or attract the same price or value .. and htf can anyone give a value on such little info?

Maybe you think we're also psychic as well as gullible ...

Sorry lad, too many people before you have tried THE EXACT SAME PLOY too many times already for it to work that easily ... read the rules, play the game and you'll get it's value, or a bit under maybe ..

it was just a question. it was my dads and he died 3 years ago and left it to me if i was trying to sell it i would have put it in that bit i just wanted to know what that sort are worth believe me in not trying to con you or get interest on it i would just like to have peoples opinions on it because im not as clued up as you people on it, so sorry for the misunderstanding on my behalf but you have got this completely wrong

OK, benefit of the doubt, the value of it 'depends' .. on so many things.

Anywhere from £250 to £2500 I'd say .. more if it's a particularly rare specimen or is an unusual variant, but if it's just a normal, un-molested, Landie then not as much as most people who don't know a lot about Land rovers think. Replacement engine might sound alarm bells in some people and most people might buy one of these to use for parts for a project, or just to break to make a profit from the parts, so wouldn't offer much.

Check ebay, autotrader et al for sold auctions to get a value .. current auctions mean little, they haven't sold yet ..
