Having the same number of followers as Twisted means nothing. Twisted is a well respected company who deliver. I have no proof of the overall level of satisfaction across all of their customers... I only have what we see online. But if I were to demand a tour of their workshop to confirm their setup... I don't think they would mind and they certainly wouldn't have anything to hide. Image 4x4 is quite frankly the total opposite.
I can appreciate yer concern over the liable stuff. Not all of it was on firm ground. I remember the big fred being locked for a while and there being mention of some legal problems with the content.
It is a fact that the company Image 4x4 Limited did exist. Said company was registered to Paul Andrew Moir from Nov 2014 to Dec 2016. He was the director and no other person registered or charged with company affairs. Said company was dissolved by force after being given a notice to be struck oft, which it later was. That's not something to shrug oft as 'it happens'. It happened for a reason. Said company was given 2 months notice to make good what was at fault... and failed to do so. It's not a decision the authorities take lightly. It's a formal power available within the regs and was carried out officially on a company that didn't comply with the rules all other companies have to follow.
I would agree peeps shouldn't buy vehicles from him. From what we're told of his work... it's not good. You could argue customers were looking for a 50k sov LR heritage project makeover on the cheap. But I doubt they were expecting the same level of workmanship. Some of the issues were the basics of not being road legal. No paperwork for ownership or a 6 month delay in obtaining paperwork. Bodged electrics. Major structural rust. In essence a half hearted attempt and a shrug of the shoulders when owners raised complaints. That's if they got their vehicle. That doesn't sound like a company I would want to deal with.
The fact is he took on the agreed work and failed to deliver on a reasonable level of quality in many cases or actually hand over a vehicle. We often hear of him taking money up front. What happened to it? It's not like he only worked on 3 vehicles then realised he'd under budgeted for the work and it was impossible to complete. He took on many orders each year for a number of years. Trading under the company name of Image 4x4 Limited even though the company was dissolved and it being against the regulations to do so. Google street view prooves the company name was still used on the building with LR's inside. There's no mistake in any of this. He took on work. Did a bad job and continued to take on more work for many years. If there are peeps out there who have had good work done by him and can prove it with paperwork/receipts and pic's... then I would be more than happy to hear from them. By post on this ere forum or in private by PM. Mr Moir has been on ere before trying to trick us.

It's interesting to see he took cars, tools etc from the business. He could probably see it coming to an end. Said vehicles and tools would be worth a lot of money so it's no surprise he took them to work on vehicles privately or to sell I would assume. He needs an income and could see it as a way out. Let the business fold and hide where yer working.
His facebook page still lists Image 4x4 Limited:
