little thigs annoy these criminals .. Ive just went through there engine listings and reported each to ebay as a fraudulent listing If more fork do the same they should loose the account .. just saves other folk being scammed and if indeed any of these engines do exist its a sure bet they are no better than the engine the buyers are replacing ,if indeed they even exist .. If they do its just causing them a headache to list them all on ebay again and again..

nibble nibble ..
From what I can work out
They Williamson Components google page which relates to ebay is Fake. It will ask you to log in/sign in. Don't do it it will not log you in to ebay, it will just take your information.

We have had issues with this since April, still don't have vechile back and almost £6000 lost. Action Fraud replied yesterday and are not interested, along with wolverhampton Council, wolverhampton police, local police, trading standards and citizens advice. What now???
Ask for a rationale from each as to why they are not interested. This should give you more information to appeal.

Action Fraud are the Fraud Police they will take your statement to build a case whether they like it or not.
If they refuse to take a statement take their name and contact details, and go to a local Police station. They work for you boss. You pay your Taxes. Phone them again an record the conversation.
not that sort the large bunch of angry owners sort

Your correct
I'm just really really angry
Whilst I was getting my vehicle back there were 2 others
Excluding the bloke with his wife and their dog.
Judging by what I've seen and read.
This lot are getting away with it and operating within a loophole in the law. To the point of it being a profession.
I've also included the bank about the cash bank transfer.
Personally I want this lot stopped.
For good.

Hi guys I’ve also been conned my Williamson components, they took the van at the beginning of July for an agreed rate of £2300
After several failed attempts in contacting them and 2 months later they’re wanting a further £2400 for the repairs, totally un professional, rude. I have managed to get my van back but it’s in pieces, parts missing, wrong battery, new turbo missing, side window missing… the list goes on

Sorry to hear this. Where did you find an advert for them. Ebay? If so under what username?

Yes found the ad on eBay, the user was Williamson components, 100% positive feedback, well written and detailed ad, they are still on there, if you google Williamson components a link will come up on eBay
Absolutely disgraceful, they’ve stolen parts out of my van, left it in right state.

Can you complain to trading standards. Some will say its not worth it but ignore them. Each report goes on a database for review later on when they do searches for common problems.

I assume you visited the telford site mentionned several posts ago on this fred or was it sumbeam street wolverhampton?

What phone numbers and email addresses did they use?

I didn’t visit the site but was told the address where my van was kept was:
Unit 12
Stafford park
Telford Shropshire
TF3 3BA
Contact number +44 7442 600062 for Jas
Who I believe is Jaspal Singh, I will be contacting trading standards about this. I transferred £1000 deposit before they collected my van to a bank account- GTI UK

Hi sorry to hear about your dealings with this company Go to your banks fraud department And Action Fraud police and report them. They have a record of this lots scamming loophole.
Good luck chap

Go back through these posts for you to see exactly who you've been dealing with.

lf you type "engine reconditioning" into Ebay you get all sorts of companies come up, many based in Wolverhampton (or some random village nearby) or with positive feedback from "private buyers" where you can't see their details

Checking the company names on Companies House comes up with various issues, for instance accounts overdue and pending requests to strike them off the register.

There's also some that are obviously genuine, it's very much a case of buyer beware.

Hi There,
My partner booked in with Williamson Components to have his van engine repaired, there was a lot wrong with it according to the company. He has paid almost £5,000 to them and we are now having trouble getting his van back, we live down south by Portsmouth and have no idea where his vehicle is. We drove to an address in Wolverhampton on Friday and when we got there found it deserted. He received a call yesterday to say the final payment had been received and that we could collect the van today however because of work commitments he could not collect today, we are trying to arrange to pick it up Friday but are both obviously anxious after reading this thread. On one hand I don't understand why they would call him to arrange collection if it was a scam but then the sheer lack of communication and not actually being able to pin point their location has us increasingly worried. He only bought the van last year for 12K which he took out a loan for, if we cant get his van back then this is going to ruin him financially, I really hope it is a misunderstanding and we get it back but we are so worried and stressed about it.
My question is for the guy who got his vehicle back, did you literally just go there and take it or did you make arrangements with them?
Thank you

I reckon we should all just waltz in there en masse and torch the fucking joint whilst our pet Mongo squeezes his 'brown' neck until his eyes pop out.

l hope your partner gets his van back and it's in a useable condition. l wouldn't wait until Friday though, l would drop everything and arrange to collect it ASAP (tomorrow)

And then please update on here how you got on.

Take out AA cover well before collecting it in case you need it on the day. If you do get yer motor back, the work may not be up to standard. Especially for a long trip home.

HI I rang and told them I wanted my vehicle back and to return the deposit. I turned up and got my vehicle back, but no deposit.
So I set the all the authorities i could muster on them. So I guess they must be trying to clear the 50+ car yard (see photos up this page by hippo)

When they took my Vehicle I went with it to see what the business was.
I turned up 1 week later to see if work had started. It was in the 50+ car yard
week 3 I got it back ...With no work done.

Your email/paperwork will give you Telford TF3 3BA
FORGET THAT it will not help

search "TJS cafe TF3 3AT. Telford". This will put you within 50 yards of them.
Look for Leek truck repair workshop
go towards it.
on your left is Williamson Components
(see photos and Google sky map on this forum up this page for details as there is no company name displayed)
when you get there photograph and video everything and inspect your vehicle and make sure all is good as there are horror stories, told on this forum.

P.S Don't kill anybody ....... There's a queue...... A very long queue
But do take a big dog.
Hope your van works okay
Good luck.
You'll be first of the few.
