So my discovery 2 TD5 auto is blowing white smoke and misfiring ive changed the injector wiring harness and the fuel filter and air filter and ive changed 1 injector that i thought was the problem but its still the same , when i plug the diagnostic into it while its running injector 2 says 'out of range' does anyone have any idea what could be the problem it doesn't lose any water or oil and ive checked the ECU plug and thats ok ???

Yes i reprogramed the injector i will get another injector an try that at the weekend i was just wondering if there could be something else that would cause the problem before i end up replacing things i dont need to

first off is the smoke water or fuel ,does it hang about as fuel does or disappear quick if fuel its low compression ,unopening inlet valve or poor injector

compression test then, look at injectors
Ye ill get a compression test done at the weekend i was thinking it might be the injector 2 that says out of range but i just wanted to see if someone might of had the same problem incase i was looking in the wrong place for the fault haha

it would make me look at it,considering faulty injector is one of the prime suspects

I will get a compression test done the weekend an get a new injector an hopefully that cures it if not i will be a case of takin the head of i think
The piston rings on cylinder 1 are broke ive been told im not sure how bad the internal damage is so im looking for a new engine if anyone has 1 forsale??
