1986 Land rover Defender 90 2.5 diesel n/a (non turbo)
D reg 1986 in the original blue colour
Tax and Mot until end of Feb 2013
only 163,000 miles, very low for its age
8 spoke white steel wheels with 205/80x16 a/t tyres, all very good condition with plenty of life left
Very good and original condition, the chassis has been repaired in the past but is in very good condition and will not need welding for next mot, it has just been all cleaned underneath and fully wax-oiled to preserve it
Its had a small patch welded on o/s bulkhead and both footwells have been repaired already
It does have corrosion under the paint in quite a few places, but i have left it as i wanted to keep it original
Recent work:
NEW GLOW PLUGS AND SERVICE READY FOR NEW OWNER
has just had both front UJ's replaced and everything greased
new ignition barrel 13/4/11
re-con gearbox, new clutch kit 31/3/11
new alternator 24/11/10
i do have over £3500 worth of receipts for the last 2 years of maintaining and repairing this defender, hence it is so much better than most of its age
