land rover prices

is it me or are landrover prices going up, i have been looking on ebay for some time now for a new project, and nothing seems to be less than a grand, i am not in a hurry but finished my lwb series three tax exempt, and the carawagon will be finished off this summer, so will be selling that

Project prices always go up in the dark nights when men are looking for things to do. When I was into bikes a lot, wrecks of some models would sell for more than mot'd ones!

its alway the same when you want to buy the prices are high but when your trying to sell
no ones wants to pay anything near what you want sods law

Rattlegun is right, dark evenings, cold outside, a lot of people browse ebay as there is sod all else going on. If it was june now, we would all be just getting in from a trip to the beach at this time not fiddling round on the internet......

yes that sounds feasable, trouble is i end up browsing most evenings as i work evenings

Anything tax exempt that runs under its own steam and is realitvely solid it's probably worth a grand!
I recently bought a '72 series been off the road for 4 years needs usual welding and a tune up, clutch master or slave on the way out other than that fairly good, I paid £995 on eBay cos I'd viewd it before bidding and it has a better than average bulkhead and it's pretty original (no one else viewed but still bid it up to £990!
Bloke I bought it off paid £400 for it two weeks earlier when clearing a barn
