Land Rover Part Number Verification

I have a 1973 Land Rover 88 Series, SWB, LHD that I doing a frame off restoration and want to replace the Wiring Harness.

I have located what appears to be a NOS Land Rover Series 3 Wiring Loom for a LHD 88. The Part Number is PRC 1359 on the bag.

Can anyone tell me where they would go to verify that PRC 1359 part number is the correct wiring loom for a 1973 Land Rover 88 Series, SWB, LHD?

Thanks, any help or wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Had a little look and found this PRC1359 MAIN CABLE ASSY | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series they may be able to tell you exactly what you have if you drop them an email.

Hi Curtis,

PRC1359 is for a Military 109 12&24 volt

I think you need
Main Harness
PRC1332 - SWB 2.25 Petrol (without choke thermostat switch) lhd
or 575408 (with choke thermostat switch) lhd - also suitable for 2.6
Alternator harness
589851 (without choke thermostat switch) or 589033 (with choke thermostat switch), Body/Rear Harness
589705

As has been said before contact L.R.Series or Craddocks

PRC1332 is available at Britcar (UK) Ltd > PRC1332 WIRING HARNESS 2.6 PET LHD S111 (G)
