brake servo looks like it's been left to leak , after it gives the impression it's been looked after

The weird thing is that an original D1 with sonar blue interior etc only go for around £700 at auction (not the excessive buy-it-now prices). Even an ultra rare MPI went for only £850 a few weeks ago, and that had the same mileage.

they go for that low price then , is currently at 2,650 , maybe one of the guys can say why it's suppose to be a rare model ???

bet the chassis rot , covered in under seal to cover it up
 
bloody hell, how much!!!!!!!!!! feel sorry for the person as i bet ur bottom dollar the chassis is rot
 
We will have to watch out for a new member to this forum, first post "I have just purchased a rare and desirable 200tdi, the body looks in great condition, but can anyone recommend somewhere to get the chassis welded......"

that's if there anything to weld to , lol
 
That's why, up to a price point, it would have been an interesting vehicle if someone had a back garden ornament of a D1 'proper' 300 Tdi 3 door with a nackered body and body parts, a nackered wiring loom burned in at least three different places, but a very good condition chassis (as I had until a few weeks ago) ... perfect transplant vehicle .. ;)
