Hi I have a 1987 land rover 110 with the 2.5 non turbo 12J diesel engine and I would like to set it up with a cyclone breather system as you probably know the military did this with the late engines and they designated them 13J to stop the oily air filters.
The parts book is a bit vague, what I want is a plumbing diagram as there seems to have been different ways this has been done, has anyone got an ex-military land rover with a cyclone system fitted that could send me some photos including the pipe to the sump etc. all of this was supposed to be in a book called The military modification book for engines that are being reconditioned, but I cant find this anywhere!!
I have the workshop facility's to drill the manifold and fit sump tubes etc. I just need a bit more info. hope you might be able to help.
