Some of them anchors... the more you pull the deeper it goes.
Tug out when used. Also takes a person to start the anchor down while the other uses the winch
You can get/make a good 1 out of angle iron,holes, spikes. These are easier to store.
Not as bad to remove once used.
1 person operation. Just bit more labour

I got a few electric pole diagonal braces and joined them with a 'D' shackle and use electric pole bolts hammered into the ground. It folds up easily and spreads to use. I've used it a couple of times and I pulled myself out with ease

What length are those bolts? About 18 inches?

Yes 18 inches. They were the longest I could find lying about. They have pulled me twice but I wasn't grounded at the time. If you were grounded, longer would probably be better although a lot would depend on the ground you are knocking them into
