Don't get offended kid. There are lot of old farts on this forum (me included), and we grew up in different times. More polite times, less "urgent", and we like to take it easy.
This is not some teenage, Internet "hang out", and most people here REALLY LIKE to help.
You NEED to provide more information.
Introduction: Why? Well, we would like to know who you are, what you are capable off with the wrench, how much experience you have, and so on. Why? So we can better advise you, and we don't waste our (and your!) time, by telling you something you already know, or are not capable of doing. Primarily, we don't want to waste our time (we have very little left, before we kick the buckett!).
Location: Why? A LOT of repair procedures/parts availability, climate, and vehicle configuration IS location dependent. E.G. I'm in SoCal, and Freelanders ARE very different in the States, than the ones in UK.
Symptoms: Why? Well,....if "you were told it could be spark plugs or engine misfire" is the same as saying "it could be aliens"! Give us the specific of the engine behavior, and it'll be that much easier to pinpoint the problem.
Vehicle MY/mileage: Why? I hope I don't have to explain this?
