lack of power, juddering, noise from gearbox?

hi.

i have a 300tdi discovery and it seems to be low on power, it has been the same since i bought it. what could i do to maybe help this?, is there anyway i can tell if the pump has been turned down?

my gearbox sometimes makes a grinding noise after changing gear as i lift my foot off the clutch as if its being grinded but it is fully in gear?. it also sometimes makes a juddering action if i am setting off on a hill?

Any suggestions of what could be causing these symptoms would be greatly appreciated

sounds like a sticky hand brake to me

I serviced it just after i got it.

There anyway i could test the hand brake or just to strip it down?

best to strip it anyway could be the actuator clogged with shyte , could be your brake linnings are warn to the metal by now if its been going on for a long time.
