it might only be 3p / litre but when all them thousands of 3ps are added up it turns into a lot of money.
Basic arithmatic
1000 x 3p = WOW £30
Minimum wage roughly £6
Needs to sell 1600 litres just to pay wages for an eight hour shift:blabla:

wow,thanks for the maths lesson bud.:doh:.well if they make so little money how come the git who runs a petrol station near me has got several more of them plus numerous shops and has just been jailed for running double books on the fuel accounts.not a bad life if you can get away with it is it.

I like to support my local garage even although it may charge a few pennies more, if it shut down I'd have a 40 mile round trip to fill up so it makes sense to use them.
